Environmental assessments (EAs) are applied worldwide as an important decision support tool in the development of numerous types of projects and plans.

Current practices do, however, have drawbacks as highly manual, time consuming and inefficient EA processes.

Building on experiences from international frontrunners on digitalisation, the DREAMS project utilises the potentials of digitalisation to develop novel tools that as open-access platforms will support societal actors in improving EAs practices and thereby promote a more sustainable development.
